Welcome to the SmartRecruiters API (SmartAPI) reference.

SmartAPIs is a collection of resources centered around hiring workflows which you can utilize to build customized hiring solutions on top of the SmartRecruiters system. If you are new here and wondering what SmartAPIs can do, check out the Introduction to the SmartRecruiters API Platform first!

The SmartAPI follows the general pattern of REST. Our API accepts form-encoded request bodies, returns JSON-encoded responses and uses standard HTTP response codes and authentication.
